We offer programs for Jewish children grades Kindergarten– 12th. Katan is the place to start for grades Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd; meeting once a month, on Sundays, from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. with Nada Schmelzer in charge, the members coming directly from Sunday School may bring a parve or dairy lunch and will have time to eat before the meeting. Next for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders we offer Pre-Kadima, which generally meets once a month, on Mondays, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with Eric Silverman as the advisor. Kadima (grades 6-8) meets on two Monday nights of each month, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Eric also serves as the advisor. Kadimaniks also have the opportunity to participate regionally, by going to Kadima Day, dances, shabbatonim or other special events. Finally, high school students in our Hagalil USY Chapter of the Year meet every Thursday night from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. MUSY members may also attend regional events that include dances, conventions and more. Membership in these groups allows your child to attend as many events as they wish.
On November 15th – 17th MUSY and Marlboro Jewish Center will be hosting Fall Kinnus for the Hagalil region of USY. This fun filled weekend is packed full of Ruach and we hope everyone will participate. Please open your heart and homes to fulfill the mitzvah of Hachnasat Orchim (hospitality).
