OUR MISSION
Marlboro Jewish Center (Congregation Ohev Shalom) is a vibrant and contemporary Conservative synagogue centered on prayer, social action, education, and celebration.
Led by our dynamic clergy, a dedicated professional staff, and hundreds of devoted volunteers, we seek to nurture traditions and enrich the lives of the nearly 600 member families that call MJC their religious home. We are proud to offer progressive educational, social, religious, and cultural programs for all ages from toddlers to adults.
We offer a warm and inviting community that celebrates Torah and the traditions of Jewish life. We serve as a bridge for new families moving into the area; helping hand to those experiencing hardship; source of comfort for those saddened by loss; a path to develop new friendships through both religious and social gatherings that enhance the experience of life as a Jewish family in greater Monmouth County.
True to our egalitarian beliefs, we are an inclusive Congregation that strives to create a special sense of belonging while helping our congregants on their Jewish journey to a greater purpose and meaning in their daily lives.
