About Us
Marlboro Jewish Center (Ohev Shalom) has been proudly serving the needs of the Jewish community since 1971. We are a modern Conservative congregation with dynamic clergy, staff, and volunteers, offering you and your family every opportunity to expand your Jewish horizons.
MJC is more than a synagogue: we are a caring community. We aim to help our congregants on their Jewish journeys, finding greater purpose and meaning in their daily lives. We aspire to make our community and our world a better place through active Jewish living and Jewish learning, and we also welcome the participation of interfaith families.
Marlboro Jewish Center now counts almost 600 families as members, hosts a vibrant and inclusive Hebrew School and one of the area's most respected early learning centers. We are proud of how each member brings his or her own story to our diverse community—such as those who have a multi-generational history at our congregation and those new to the Marlboro area, of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking a Jewish community – a place to call home.
We invite you to take the Jewish Journey with us and to find out why so many families have chosen MJC as their spiritual home.
